CD to PC to MP3/4 Player

I have a CD and need to know where and how to copy it on my PC, then how to transfer it to an MP_3/4 Player. I have the cable from the PC to the MP PlaYER ATTACHED.

Windows 6? That's interesting :D

In Media Player there is the option of Ripping, which will copy the music from the CD into MP3 format. You then just copy it to the MP3 player.

well, I just clicked on Windows Media Player 12 and there is no Ripping option on my screen, just a Play, Burn and Scan.

When all else fails go to the source Microsoft
WMP12 will rip but the command is hidden in the drop down menus.
