Hi,

Hopefully one of you will be able to help me!

About a week ago I logged onto my Gmail acoount and saw I had over 2000 new emails in my inbox. The most I'll normally get is about 20... I couldn't see these emails on the first page of my inbox, and at that stage it didn't occcur to me to go through a few other pages. My spam box was also unusually full at this point.

Today I was having a look through some of my old emails and I came across a page littered with "unread" emails. I realised that these were the "new" messages contributing to my huge amount of unread mail, however all of these messages have been deleted at one time or another. The same with my spam emails. Every now and then I will permanently delete these messages, but they are all coming back - fast! Some were even from a couple of years ago.

I have no idea what's going on here & haven't knowingly done anything to make this happen.

Any solutions would be gratefully received.

Thanks.
