Spam emails

My computer keeps sending spam emails to my address book and it also has caused two batterys to go bad in about a week. This laptop is not even a year old and my friends are pissed about the emails. I am very careful so I don't know how I could have gotten this. I have run 3 diff virus scans and nothing has come up. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks Sunny
