I have a HP Pavilion dv4 laptop the charger went bad so ordered new one form after market seller my old charger says input- 100-240v 1.7a 50-60Hz output- 18.5v 3.5a new one says input- 100-240v 1.5a 50-60Hz output- 19v 4.74a. seller says it will work is this correct. thanks for any help you can offer.

Yes I checked Online at the Specifications & that charger will work for your laptop.

I seen the charger on Ebay from the seller betterstuff-lowerprice for as low as $12.90.
