Where's the smartphone discussions?

So we have the computer thing pretty much covered. With Android breaking out into the market, people are hacking and overclocking their phones, and apple may as well go back to their green screen monitors and 1 button mouses.

Anyway, there's a short discussion about apps, but not about phones specificially. Just like the intel/amd, Nvida/ati discussions, I'm sure there's a big divide between apple/android, gsm/cdma, 3g/4g/LTE/HPSA+, t-mobil/verizon/sprint/at&t..... you get the idea. My phone is a 4 year old blackberry with no internet. its about time I got a new one and I have no idea where to begin... (well i have an idea, but I'd like to see what other people's methods of choosing which phone they think will still be useful by the end of a 2 year contract...)

Am i just overlooking this section in the forums?
