OK, Do I need to do that whilst setting a static IP Address? Or just leave it as normal?

Don't worry about it because after you uninstall and reinstall it will set it back to getting an ip address automatically. just follow the instructions, leave it as normal

Yea that's the link. I don't think you listed the name and model # of your pc. List it in your next reply.. Just try to follow the instructions I posted and if there is problem with drivers we can deal with it.

OK, I've updated the driver. I didn't restart the routers because it worked first time. I'll have to wait a bit to see if it still drops connection?
And my PC is a:
Sony Vaio PCG-K195HP Notebook.

It appears so... I haven't had any problems so far. I'm checking my xbox to see if that works as well...
And I mean I didn't have to restart the router(s) to make the internet work. It worked straight away.

Woah I bricked it then. I thought my xbox was still broken but it was the other guy that quit :D
Anyway, My xbox seems to be reacting OK as well, so touch wood, everything is OK.
Thank you soooo much. I know it was quite a simple answer but I have been looking for it for about 3 years...
