hey,

Im trying to network and old windows 98SE computer on the same nerwork as my Windows XP home and pro computer. I basically want to do this just to share the internet connection but i cant seem to get the 98 computer to network right. Im using a netgear DS104 Hub. i guess the xp computer just automatically set themselves up just need a littler help manually setting up the 98. thanks

first make the network connection on the windows XP computer, and then it will give you an option to make a network setup disk for another computer- select that option and run it on the windows 98 computer
