Hello:

When I checked My Computer, then system properties, it shows service pack 3. In the add/remove program list,
what shows is Msft.net framework 2.0 Service Pack 2. and Msft. framework 3.0 Service Pack 2.
What I wanted to do was remove both programs and install Service Pack 3. When I tried to remove both programs, a window appeared and stated that Msft.Net framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 and Msft. framework 3.0 Service Pack 2 cannot be uninstalled because it will affect other applications that are installed. Then, when I clicked close, a window appeared stating "Fatal error during installation".

What am I to do?

I hope someone can help me.

The Microsoft .NET Framework and the Windows Service Packs are different things. One doesn't have to do with the other. Your computer has XP SP3 which is the latest service pack released for the Windows XP operating system. If you need a newer version of the .NET framework to run a program, download the latest from here: http://www.microsoft...t/download.aspx
