Download LSPfix here: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
Launch the application, and click the "I know what I'm doing" checkbox.
Check all instances of newdotnet6_38.dll (and nothing else), and move them to the "Remove" pane.
Then click Finish.

That should do it.

Not all Aurora files show up in a HijackThis log. The best way to establish if you got rid of it, is the abscense of the obnoxious popups.

ive checked out your website, some very useful stuff on there. I was a little worried earlier as i was playin Unreal tournament 99 and as i was quitting the game, my computer screen blacked and the computer started making beeping noised. I tried to restart but nothin would work it jus carried on beeping, in the end i was left with no other option but to turn it off from the mains. This has neber happened before, any suggestions?

It could have been a fluke, but I will keep this thread open in case it happens again.

well i was playing unreal tournament ad it happend again. The screen went black adn the pc started making some really random beeping noises. Could this be anything to do with the remove.bat file i was instructed to make when removing aurora? If not any idea what is causing this?

No. The remove.bat I think you mean removes three files that you really do not want or need.

From the symptoms I would guess at your graphics card having a problem.

Maybe it would be better to open a new thread in the Hardware forum about this particular problem.

Its a great job you guys are doing here, im really interested in becoming a member of the team. My computer knowledge is very limited, but i am very willing to learn and want to help other people. The error hasnt happened again, and i am thinking it is a graphics card error as i was having problems with Counter Strike Source earlier. Thanks again
