Pre scan of Norton antivirus gave "Bloodhound.W32.EP" found ! Remove file !

So I removed: C:\WINDOWS\System32\TFTP2188 and have no clue what I did...

That virus seems even not to operate in WIN XP which I have...

So I installed Norton, but what is the damage I did.. or otherwise what else do I need to do about this virus.

Thanks for any help

i would say nothing more to be done, other than update your virus definitions and rerun on a regular basis

Thanks,
But what does this file do? Meaning what is not working anymore? Until now all seems fine though. I have gone back to a systemrepairpoint in march and didn't find the file there [under System32], only a simpel 'tftp' file which is currently, now 26 may on there too. Not so for the TFTP2188 file. Google doen't recognize that file either. :tazz:
