Hi,

I need help setting this wireless network for my home. I´m not a complete noob at the subject but i´m no expert either. I need some recommendations before I make some decisions.

I have 2 desktop computers, two laptops (all windows 7 64 bit), an iPad, a PS3 and 3 blackberries in my house. The problem is that the internet cable comes through the attic to a Cisco-Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless-G wireless router which leads to one desktop computer and to a cable to the BASEMENT directly to another desktop computer, also in my basement I have my Ps3. The problems is that the cisco router doesn´t have enough range to get through the 3 floors and into the basement, so my Ps3 and my whole basement is wireless restricted. So... I want WiFi in my whole house, including my basement and I want it to be one home network. Also I have a D-link switch and thousands of Ethernet cables. Any suggestions??

I´m considering buying another wireless router and connect it to the switch in the basement, is it possible? If it is, can it be an airport extreme?

Please help people
