I own Windows XP. The CD I have is SP2. So, whenever I have to reload my operating system it takes forever to run through the Windows Updates and load SP3. Additionally, if I forget to turn on the firewall before connecting my ethernet cable I am almost always infected with numerous viruses and malware due to the vulnerabilities in the outdated version of Windows.

Is there a way to create a bootable USB that contains all of the current updates I have of Windows? Is there a better option?

I know many people use nLite: http://www.nliteos.c...uide/index.html to create unattended Windows installation CDs. You can integrate service packs, other updates, and can select what specifically you want to install. I haven't used nLite before, but there are many guide available on the web. Look here: http://www.nliteos.c...uide/index.html
If you need any help in the process of making a CD, post back.
