only suggestion that I have is to see if you can identify any software on your computer (graphic drivers like ati catalyst) and see if by removing them you can unintall your framework.

Will do. I also have another question for you. Whenever I play black ops my computer says I get a direct x error, but when I look in the event viewer it is logged as a DHCP Warning. Event Code:1003

This is the message: Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address xxxxxxxxxxxx. The following error occurred:
The operation was canceled by the user. . Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.

I put the x's in there, not knowing if it was ok for me to publicly post that. Could this be leading to my .NET errors?

I also have some other warnings that include DHCP event 1009: A network error occurred when trying to send a message. The error code is: A blocking operation was interrupted by a call to WSACancelBlockingCall. .

TCPIP event 4226: TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.

And then this. Server error event 2505: The server could not bind to the transport \Device\NetbiosSmb because another computer on the network has the same name. The server could not start.

Is it ok to possibly reopen this topic?

I'm still getting the .NET runtime 2.0 error, except now it is coming from 2 different RCON tools (specifically procon and BC2 Guardian). I went back in the posts and tried to enter the command in the prompt but it says it can't find the specified path.

I also tried to uninstall .NET again and it still said it was conflicting and it sent me here: http://msdn.microsof...s/bb188202.aspx Maybe it was hinting that it is conflicting with .NET 3
