Hi,

Although most schools in this district have access to SMART boards and other technologies, I don't see them utilized to their full potential very often. I was wondering if anyone knew of any software, free to educators, that will expand student creativity and enhance their interests in the subject matter. For instance, are there any interactive games, like RPG's, that allow students to explore texts such as "The Raven" What about games that test vocabulary and such? Better yet, is there a free program that allows educators to design their own neat stuff? Would I need to understand computer code? How easy would this be? I would appreciate any ideas. I'm sure I'm not going to have a ton of time when I start teaching, though.

Thank you,
