I have a question about Internet Explorer History for version 6.0.
If I attempted to go to a website but got the page not found error message, would the web address that I attempted to go to show up in my history?
I didn't think that it would since I never actually made it to the website but I wasn't sure.
Is there a web address assigned to the Page Not Found message? Would that show up in my history?
I only wonder out of curiosity. If someone could let me know I would greatly appreciate it.
Or if you could send me in the direction of where I could look to find these answers myself, that would be great as well. Thanks much!

Welcome to GTG.

I'm not 100% sure about this myself, but I would think the same way that you did. I think it would not show up in the history. But it will be listed in the URL drop down box though if I'm correct. Whether you access that web page or not, it will still be there in the address bar unless you clear it.
