How to Convert FAT32 to NTFS

To convert your Windows partition to NTFS:

This only applies to FAT partitions. You must log in as an administrator for this to work.

Click Start - Run - type "cmd" (without quotes). Then click OK.
Type the following into the Command Prompt window:
convert drive: /fs:ntfs
Replace drive: with the drive letter of your Windows partition.

For example:
convert C: /fs:ntfs
Windows will then check your hard disk for errors, then attempt to convert your hard disk to NTFS.
After the program finishes, reboot your computer.
