I'm thinking about buying a jbod hard drive dock for the ease of hot swapping but I'm wondering about dust. If I keep hdds docked over long periods of time, will dust cause them problems?

Are USB 2.0 2-Bay Hard Drive Dock good for hdds?

This would depend on the environment in which it was being used, normal home or office use would be fine.

Thanks for the info, Member 1K. I have 2 dogs and a cat so I'm thinking that the dust/animal hair would probably be a problem for a dock. I already have a 4-bay ext enclosure (JBOD) but swapping drives in it is difficult. I was looking for something that's quick but safe for the hdds.
