Windows 7 Freezes/ stops responding for 1-3Mins

Hey, So i've had windows 7 for about 3 months now, starting about 2 months ago, my computer randomly freezes for 1-3 minutes and then resumes again as normal, it's really annoying, i'm not sure if it's something to do with windows 7 or my computer in general.

Please help?
