I've been working on this for a couple weeks now, off and on. My girlfriend's computer, which I built, has a nasty habit of freezing like a slow motion train wreck when loading or attempting to play a video on youtube.com. Basically, Firefox freezes and if you try to end the process, it has no effect. Shortly after attempting to end the process, the cursor freezes on screen and the computer is essentially completely frozen. I've checked the task manager for unfamiliar processes and I am constantly running Windows Defender. I occasionally run Malwarebytes Anti-malware and I keep the computer occasionally defrag, clean temp files, and other general maintenance. I am not as diligent as it is not my computer.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD
Video: (On board) ATI Radeon HD 4200
Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 545
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Green 750GB (Serial ATA)
Memory: 2x 2GB WINTEC AMPO DDR2
OS: Windows 7
