Every now and then, while working in MS Word or Access I'll get an error stating the auto recovery piece has to be delayed. Anyone know why this is and if there's a fix for it?

Thank you.

Greetings michaelnelson, welcome to Geeks to Go. Word uses temporary files and I suspect the delay message was because it was trying to do something with the temporary files and had to wait for system resources to complete that process. This link is from M$ talking about how MS Word uses these files....
