I am new here and I think I posted my question in the wrong forum. I posted under internet and browsers and I believe my problem belongs here. Anyway every time I run a scan whether it be my antivirus, my antispyware or my ad-aware....any thing that requires scan all the files, the computer reboots. There is no real pattern for this sometimes it happens early in the scan and sometimes the scan is almost complete. I can't run a log to send to you because the computer won't stay running long enough to generate the log. I have tried running it in safe mode and it still shuts off. I have downloaded all my security updates and patchs. Now I am at a loss. Help please. Only during scans to I have this problem, the computer runs great in every other aspect.

Im thinking it might be Spyware or a Trojan. Try posting in the section "Malware Removal Section".
