I have an HP Compaq Pavilion a735w System with Windows XP. It's an older model computer that my mom handed down to me after my laptop stopped working. I play MMO's and after downloading World of Warcraft on this computer I began having issues with the graphics in-game. I installed and updated the graphics drivers (the last available update was in 2005) as well as adjusted the screen resolution and it didn't correct the issue. I believe I'm going to need a new/better graphics card, but my question is, do you think there is a hardware option that will be compatible with this old of a computer?

http://www.tigerdire...20Video%20Cards This for an example......They do still sell them. You have to be playing WoW with low settings, that game can be rough on the video card. I cant really say how much of a performance gain you will get. Is this your PC? http://www.premiumge...on-a735w-specs/ Do you have an AGP card in there now?

To get the best out of upgrading the GFX you may also have to upgrade the PSU to power it, also some specs that I read stated that the MB can only hold a maximum of 1GB of Ram (2 X 512mb sticks) so if you only have 512mb fitted add another 512mb stick http://www.premiumge...on-a735w-specs/ this info is contradicted at the link below where it says 2GB max (2 X 1GB sticks).
This is the MB that is listed as being in your computer http://www.mxdatarec...bios-specs.html
