Hello,

I have loaded itunes onto my Sony Vaio VGN-FS28GP laptop running Windows XP service pack 3.
The software loads ok but the program won't start from the desktop icon or via the start menu.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes serveral times and continue to end up with the same result.

Please offer some suggestions on how I can overcome this problem!

So double clicking on the iTunes icon doesn't open the program?

After double clicking on the iTunes icon following a reboot, press Ctrl+Alt+Del and enter the task manager. Then click on the Processes tab, look for an entry named bonjour.exe. Highlight the entry and click on End Process. Does iTunes open now?

If that doesn't work, go back into the task manager and end a process called mDNSResponder.exe. Does it open once that process is killed?

You don't happen to be running IOBit's Advance SystemCare do you?
