I have a very strange problem....I have a person's laptop here that is only a few weeks old and is windows 7 64bit. The problem is that when you open internet explorer (32 or 64Bit) the page looks "wrong"....by this I mean that there are areas of just white where there should be buttons!..the buttons are there and the cursor changes to a hand when over them, it is just they are invisible!

When the person whose computer it is opens Google calendar, some of the buttons have a bold black line horizontally through them and others cannot be seen.

He is running Windows 7, IE8 and has Norton 360

Any help would be gratefully received.
