inside apoint.exe box, failed to run dll appears

I ran avira antivirus scan and fixed out a virus from my dell laptop. When I boot up a box appears with the heading "apoint.exe" and the message "Failed to run dll" No indication of what dll. The taskbar is white. It seems to be affecting my system some way,when system is left idle for few minute behaves unexpectedly and then hangs up, but my touchpad is working nice.
