Compaq Presario CQ60 Notebook PC won't read DVD-RW disc

I have a Compaq Presario CQ60-410US Notebook PC with Windows Vista. I used a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD92 to record video on a DVD-RW disc. When I put the DVD-RW disc into my Notebook PC the PC won't read the disc. I also recorded video on a DVD-R disc using the same Handycam and the PC reads it with no problem. :D I want to copy the video to my computer so I can take it off of the DVD-RW disc and burn it to a DVD-R disc. ;)

Please Help!! ;)
