win xp setup cannot copy vgaoem.fon, help?

I was having blue screen error messages so I decided to reinstall windows xp but after the drive had finished formating and just about to start the install, it cam up with the error; Setup cannot copy the file: vgaoem.fon. Please help?

Usually means a bad CD, a faulty CD drive, or possibly even faulty RAM.

Try a different XP CD, or try a different CD drive.

Test the RAM with the downloadable ISO of Memtest86 here: http://www.memtest86.com/
make a CD from the ISO & boot your PC from it.
