This is an interesting issue Microsoft has not been able to fix.

There is a driver that shows up in the system driver list.

ifpusb iRiver Internet Audio Player IFP-100 c:\windows\system32\drivers\ifpusb.sys Kernel Driver No Auto Stopped OK Normal No No

It is a driver for an Iriver MP3 player this is the only place it existis. I cannot be found via command promp nor widows explorer. I unistalled the iriver software but its still there. Any time I run halo or any internet based game after about 15 minutes the system shuts off. I find this in the even viewer.

The iRiver Internet Audio Player IFP-100 service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

This is the same error I get when the system shuts down

I reloaded the software and unitalled it agian but its still there.

Doesw anyone know how to change a driver from Auto to manual?

Any help is apprieciated

Also If i reistall the software it still shuts the PC down but this is the eroor
