My darling daughter wanted me to use emoticons when chatting, so at her suggestion I downloaded Facemoods - and immediately regretted it.
An immediate Trojan warning came up (Avast! Free edition)....and then I didn't like the look of the little faces anyway!

So I hunted down the Trojan (TROJAN.Win32.Generic!BT) and removed it - I think.

I also ran an Ad-Aware scan and another by Glary Utilities.
No more Facemoods.
However, whenever I open up Firefox it comes up with a Facemoods Search page complete with Bing and Ask - none of which I want to use.

So I tried to do a Control Panel Add/Remove job.....but there's no Facemoods there (or Ask or Bing for that matter).
And then, being guided by on-line answers, I went into Tools > Add-ons.....but there's nothing there either.

So where else this little thing hiding and how can I get rid of it completely?

I'll willingly send reports, etc if you'll tell me how and where, etc. But I'm an old fart who wished he'd got into computers 20 years earlier....and is now having trouble keeping up! :D So keep it simple, please!
Thanks
