I checked my RAM. Seems to be good. Ran memtest a few times before I realized Windows 7 has one built in, so I ran it. Seems to be okay.
I'm using PCTools Spyware Dr. It's been great so far. I've had it for a couple years with no problems, but the blue screens started suspiciously close to after a recent update from them.
I tired turning off "IntelliGuard" which blocks malware, but I still got a BSOD.
Here's the BlueScreenView:

Thanks for your help

I'm just replying because I have the same specs and the same problem. It's almost uncanny that I checked this forum and found this as the most recent post. So yeah...

Windows 7
PC Tools Spyware Doctor installed a few weeks ago, updates every few days
Crash String: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Caused by: tcpip.sys

Over the last 5 days, I get the BSOD 1-3 times a day (I leave my lappy on 24 hours a day).

Maybe we should be contacting PC Tools :-/

Guys, I contacted PCTools. they're taking forever and I noticed I had failed windows updates. In solving that I think I fixed it.
If you have failed Windows updates and are getting Error 66A:
Remove Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 with the .NET Framework Cleanup Tool (http://blogs.msdn.co...28/8904493.aspx ) , reinstall the Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 and install the Update.

Downloads for Framework:
http://msdn.microsof...k/aa569263.aspx

Has been working with no bluescreen for a few hours now. I'll repost later once I've been running a while to make sure that did the trick.

Wish I saw this thread earlier. My problems started around the time of that spyware doctor update as well. Guess I'll try the .Net Framework trick.

Ya'll probably already realized this but uninstalling spyware doctor seems to solve the issue. I've had it uninstalled for several days now and have stopped getting the bluescreens. Considering their "customer service" I'm pretty sure I won't be going back even if they do fix the issue.

Yea. I'm waiting on their customer service people to respond. We'll see how long this takes. I'll let you know what they say. So far they've asked me to send some info then asked me a few more questions. their 3rd reply said it's "been escalated to our highest level Technical Support team for analysis." There have been several updates since then , but nothing to resolve the bluescreen. I'll let you know what happens

If I could get some tech help with this while I'm waiting for PCTools, that would be awesome.Might not even be the antispyware. Not sure. Any help would be appreciated

I would like to see more feedback on this topic because I to have seen the BSOD more in the past 2 days then I have seen my whole life, @ first I was very worried about my RAM or even my new video card I got. I formatted and yet again the issue continues but one of the first programs I had installed was Spyware Doctor, I had a feeling 2 days before formatting the thought of the BSOD caused by Spyware Doctor was in the back of my mind. So now today I was about to check my Ram which I am still going to do for double check but I found this topic and joy came because all of you have the same issue as I do and did the same steps as you guys did. I uninstalled Spyware Doctor, fingers still crossed but since this is new to me I'm very urgent to see how it has come about for you others since you guys have post from days ago. Thanks for your time get back to me.

Finally got a response. I followed this a few days ago and so far it looks like it did the trick:
Step 1: Turn off Automatic Smart Updates
_____________________________________

1. Launch Spyware Doctor
2. Click on Settings > General
3. Under Smart Update action: select. "Do not check for updates" and click on Apply

Step 2: Shut down Spyware Doctor
______________________________

To shut down Spyware Doctor, right click on the Spyware Doctor icon in the system task tray near the clock and select

Shutdown

Step 3: Copy the files to the System 32\Drivers directory
_______________________________________________

1. Click on the Windows Start Menu(Windows button) and select ‘Run’
2. Copy and paste the command below in the text field .This will open up a ftp directory with five files.

======= For 32 bit systems =======
explorer ftp://bsod:[email protected]/32/

======= For 64 bit systems =======
explorer ftp://bsod:[email protected]/64/

3. Copy and paste the five files into the following directory

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\

Step 4: Restart your computer
__________________________

Restart your computer and launch Spyware Doctor

Not sure when/if it will ever be okay to turn automatic updates on again, but it is working.

Try starting system restore as this is important. Without a system restore you are going to be dead in the water if something happens later.
Create a restore point to now so that just in case you can rollback to now since it is working.
