Hi! I think the issue I'm having may not be malware - at first I thought it was. I ran malwarebytes full scan (it's always on) and it found nothing.

This started happening when I woke up this morning.

I opened FireFox, which normally opens my own Start page I created. But instead, it opened 3 tabs of its own.

I checked in settings, and it reset my home page to: http://en-US.start3....:en-US:official

Opens 3 tabs:

1.) Features of S3Fox http://www.s3fox.net...true&from=addon
2.) Mozilla Firefox Start Page http://www.google.co...:en-US:official (it's a google page)
3.) Firefox 3.6 Welcome page http://www.mozilla.c....6.13/firstrun/

I checked and it's not letting me set to No Proxy in my Firefox settings, either. I tried, and it went back to "use system proxy settings."

I tried resetting the home page but when I close and restart, it opens those tabs again. I did uninstall S3 later in the day so now it only opens the 2 tabs - not #1 above but I want it to be able to start on whatever I set it on.

Thank you!

Go to Tools -> Options.

In the General tab, make sure Show my home page is selected in the When Firefox starts: section.

Was that the problem?

Sounds to me like FF updated and that is why you are getting the 2nd and 3rd tabs. The last one for sure comes up whenever FF updates and then restarts itself.

No it's in when firfox starts but it still reverts to their page after I hit save and it starts again. It's like my settings won't keep.

Ok, it seems like you've posted a thread about this in the Malware Removal section. So just wait and see what you should do about it.
