Windows xp blackscreen at statup.

i downloaded a file i wasn't suppose to and i think i got a virus. later on,the screen turned blue with some texts on it. the computer turned of. i tried to turn it back on but the screen turns black before the windows xp screen. i also tried running in safe mode and all the other modes but the screens turn black. i don,t know what to do. please help.

If you think it is virus related you should post in the Virus, Spyware, Malware Removal section and get help by the Geek to Go expert.
