Ive got a major problem regarding missing graphics drivers.

I have an old peice of crap pc called a "Compaq D500" and recently i rebooted it and started a fresh. I used to have a CD with all the drivers that i needed for sound, graphics etc... BUT i have lost this CD ! So i went to the company website to find the missing drivers and pretty much have downloaded and tried all the drivers they have and nothings helping.... Everytime i keep trying to install the driver, i think is the correct one... I get a message popping up saying " Cannot install Intel ® graphics device on currant graphics device....

Is your model actually the Compaq Evo D500 Desktop?
If so the problem it isn't a Intel driver you need, it's a Nvidia driver as found HERE
Under the Graphics section you want the one that is for Win 2000 and XP with the following version number. 15.70A and dated for Nov 18 2002

Download and install Free Everest Home Edition
Open it.
1: In left pane expand Computer folder.
2: Click once on Summary
3: In upper menu, go Report
4: And then to Quick Report-Summary
5: Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.
Click the + by computer, click on Sensor. Get a screenshot and post it so I can check your temps and voltages...

DO NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING UNDER THE LINE THAT SAYS "DEBUG- PCI"
