Hello,

Went through a while with problems w/ my computer, and finally contacted G2G. At the request from my helper, I uninstalled ZoneAlarm and instead went with the Sunbelt Personal Firewall.

Now, no matter what I tell SPF is the "Trusted" Area, I cannot see or be seen by anyone else on our home network. We share the printer and a backpack drive off this computer and need to be able to see it.

I have a Westell modem/router provided by Frontier Communications. The router recognizes everything attached to the lan, but neither laptop connected sees the desktop.

I am at a loss. I have made the lan trusted and plugged in the ip range of everything that is being served, but the desk top still does not get recognized.

Any help would be appreciated,

Tom
