I have to re-set my search preferences in Google everytime I open a new prowser.

I am not a fan of Google filtering my searches or suggesting what I am looking for and
I want to shange their default settings to the ones I want.

How can I change the search settings to what I want and keep them that way?

Windows 7 IE8
