Earlier today I attempted to download a free AVG 2011 virus protection onto my mums new Toshiba laptop. The link I used must have been fake and seems to have infected her laptop with a virus. Every time I try to do something a security warning box xomes up saying that the file is infected. I have tried getting on to the geeksto go website so I can use the malware removal tools, but the computer keeps going to the blue screen (with the white writing described in other forum posts), and then restarts before I can do anything. I feel really bad that I did this to my mum's laptop when she really needs it to work. Please help!
