On my MSI netbook, I received the following threats using Avast.

Threat: Win32:Dropper-EPI[Drp] on the c:\Windows\explorer.exe
Threat:Win32:Malware-gen on c:\windows\system32\winlogon.exe

I couldn't perform any (i.e. repair, move to chest) to the threats as the results says: "Error: The specific file is read only (6009).

Also I seem to experience the Google redirects.

Haven't really had experienced with registries or OTL.
Tried installing McAfee but that didn't find anything on the quick scan.
Please provide me instructions if you like me to post any attachments.
