Alright.. This bluescreen appeared the first time a month ago when my girlfriend was playing Oblivion. (I've never seen it before, and as far as I remember I hadn't installed any new drivers recently either.) After that first time, it has re-surfaced many many..MANY times.

I thought it was my RAM that was physically destroyed, so I bought some new and booted with that now. Didn't fix the problem.

I have AVG Free, Nvidia GeForce, AMD processor, and a Gigabit motherboard. I am sure I have one or several dumps from the concrete error, although I'm not sure where to find it. I pray that someone will try to help me locate the real issue here. Right now, the computer is useless. (I can't play any 3D-games)

Thanks,

Does the blue screen appear only when playing games? Or does it happen randomly at any time the computer is on?

Download BlueScreenView from the following link:

http://majorgeeks.co...View_d6200.html

Run the program and select all the items listed (Edit -> Select All) and have them saved to a txt file on the Desktop (File -> Save Selected Items). Post the contents of the txt file here.

EDIT: Just saw your second post. Hold on.

Computer does seem stable. It happens when I play, specifically League of Legends and Darkfall. And it does happen EVERY time I play. With League of Legends, I can usually play for 30-40 minutes before bluescreen strikes, and computer reboots. Then I reconnect, and it usually happens again within 5minutes.

The logs don't help much unfortunately. So we're going to have to do some trial and error.

Uninstall AVG and see what happens.

If the problem persists, update the drivers for the video card.

Also, uninstall Daemon Tools while you're at it.

I did update the video-drivers.
I bought new RAM aswell.

I'll try uninstalling AVG. What about disabling the "Cool'n Quiet" technology? Since I see that the amdk8v.sys file (or something) shows up in the bluescreens, and it governs Cool'n Quiet technology from what I understand.

Doesn't hurt to try. But let's do things step by step so we know what's the culprit.

Just try playing any of the games with AVG completely uninstalled.

Well, I tried uninstalling AVG and disabling "Cool'n Quiet" technology. The strange thing is, it seemed to work fine for about 30minutes in game. Then computer just crashed. No bluescreen, just got "stuck", where nothing would respond. Had to manually reboot it. My computer has never crashed like this before by the way.

Have the Run dialog box come up by pressing and holding the Windows logo key (on the keyboard) and then press R.

Type in:

eventvwr

Do you see any hints in the event logs?

Download Windows Event Viewer Plus 1.0 from the following link:

http://majorgeeks.co...Plus_d6688.html

That should make things easier, I guess. Try to find out how to export the entries to a text file so that you may post the contents here. I don't have access to any Windows Vista/7 at the moment so unable to test it myself.

Ok, re-enable Cool 'n Quiet but leave AVG uninstalled. What's the outcome?

Also, it seems you have some "Registry Cleaner" program installed on your system, am I right? If the problem continues, uninstall that program also.

I have just gotten home from work, and ran an application I downloaded yesterday called "Advanced SystemCare". It seems like a fine app, whether it can fix this problem or not. Anyway, it generated a "HiJack Log" which I can post here, before I go on with the steps you suggested. Here it goes:
