Hi

My son is back from uni with his laptop which, to quote "is knacked - no idea what's wrong - been like that for weeks..."

On bootup, it goes to the green process bar, then goes blank, then comes up with the BSOD - technical details are: Stop:

0x00008086 (0x00000000) (0x00000000) (0x00000000) (0x00000000)

At this point, I have not taken any action with it, in case I make a bad situation worse.

The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-1K (PSLB9E)running Windows Vista.

(I'd provide more info if I could, but can't until I can boot up to check the spec)

In advance, Thanks.
