Hey geekstogo. I am having some troubles with my games freezing up, programs not responding, and bluescreens. I will explain what has happened.

In october I fell victim to a redirect virus that put a nice virus on my computer, it has since been quarantined and deleted.

Ever since black ops was released for the PC I have had troubles with it. About 2 weeks ago it was patched by the company and now it works. Ever since I installed black ops though I have had some weird stuff happening.

I have another game called Battlefield Bad Company 2. On occasion it will completely freeze up, but this never used to happen. I really don't know the direct cause but I think it could be an update that the company recently released for bad company. I have also looked in my event viewer and have found application errors that say "fault bucket" with a list of numbers at the end. The event id is: 1001

The other day I was playing left 4 dead 2 and as I was exiting the game, I got a bluescreen that said win32k.sys

For the past few weeks Java has been wanting to be updated. I have uninstalled and installed it several times but it constantly came up saying "it unexpectedly stopped working." Since I don't use Java I just have left it uninstalled.

Another time I was writing at my desk and my computer got a blue screen. I do believe it was about a driver or something like that.

Last night I installed Ccleaner and cleaned up and fixed hundreds of errors. Today, I have not noticed any problems. Over the past few weeks I have also visited the microsoft update center and have installed all the latest updates.

Are any of these symptoms anything to worry about? Could this virus be causing them?

Thankyou geekstogo.
