Unless you have a second PC that's reliable and you can fall back on, we do not recommend you should risk installing beta software.
It should only be installed on a spare machine which you don't mind getting "messed up", never on a PC you rely on everyday.
If you only have one PC and you really want to try some beta software, you should have a complete backup image of your C: drive before proceeding, so if if Windows falls over seriously, you can easily & quickly restore it.

Best advice - please wait for the finished version of IE9 and leave beta-testing to those who have a spare PC to run it on. Particularly where IE is concerned, since it's practically part of the operating system.

just a question is your IE 8 browser working fine..

and have you installed the updates before installing IE 9. after checking the log there is one place where i would like to point is the log
"20:07.453: INFO: Link clicked, opening URL in new window:'C:\Windows\IE9_Main.Log'
20:08.422: INFO: Link clicked, opening URL in new window:'C:\Windows\IE9_Main.Log'

20:09.125: INFO: Link clicked, opening URL in new window:'C:\Windows\IE9_Main.Log'
"
