Can two computers connect to the internet with one cable modem? I don't want to share files between them. I appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance. :D

You need a router. They start at a mere $17.99 (USD) at Newegg.com:

You can, but a router makes life easier.

A little technology called "Internet Connection Sharing" will do it. However as I say, a router is far easier.
