In the past I have had Ad-Aware report paths, mainly DPF, that when I have checked cannot be seen even with the view set for Hidden files and Hidden system files. Any ideas as to how to disable this cloaking device?

rootkits will hide from windows...a couple of programs out there that are still evolving for tracking them
