I hooked my Dell monitor into my other tower(Acer AST180-UD440A) for the first time and I can see the boot screen just fine all the way up to where the Vista Windows orb pops up and you here the log in sound and then a blank screen. Not blank as in the monitor goes to sleep either. I can here the rest of the log in sounds like its running fine just not showing on the monitor. I have no graphics card, I tried re-seating my ram, ran a memory scan, don't know what else to do? Please any help and thanks in advance

Also tried booting into safe mode but it stops when loading the files and does nothing.

if more info needed please let me know.

yes it works on my other PC. I ended up blanking and reinstalling Vista and low in behold it works perfect now. Don't know what would have caused it, would like to know though.
