I am the admin, there are no other accounts.

Hello

If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 there is maybe a simple issue to fix this as I personally have seen it myself. Sometimes even if you are a administrator for some unknown reasons it comes up with this message. No idea why but none of the less i'll try it.

CD Install

  • Goto My Computer from the start menu
  • Find where your Micosoft Office 2007 disc is (should be D:\)
  • Right click this and select explore
  • Find the setup file which should be something like setup.exe
  • Right click this and select Run as Administrator and see if it lets you install it

Digital download from Microsoft

  • Find the file which you have downloaded from Microsoft
  • Right click the file and select Run as Administrator and see if it lets you install

Thanks
