Hi

Our house laptop has been very slow for a long time, i've kind of just grinned and beared it, although its getting to the point where i'm afraid my missus will throw it the next time she's on here haha, so i was wondering if there are any software clean-ups i could perform that may better our performance.

I've ran numerous scans and cleaned up my system from a very nasty virus in a previous thread here with the aid of Essexboy (which i am very thankful for) but if any of you awesome people have any great ideas, i'd be happy to listen :D

Defragmentation is an option, i'm aware of this, and if OTL logs are required, i have a preliminary log in my previous thread.. although thinking about it, it'll probably contain text relating to the awful virus i had and may throw you people off..

Any help at all is greatly apreciated! if none comes, i dont mind! haha.

Thanks again. This is an amazing site, and you all work so hard. For that, I and many others are eternally greatful ;)
