Which drivers will not install?
You could go into Device manager and uninstall the ones with the yellow exclamation mark. Then reboot and let the system find them again. When asked about letting it search or specify a place to look than use the second option. Point it to where you saved the drivers.

Are the drivers you downloaded exe files or what type of files?

the only update to install was the top one media auto controller the still have yellow marks

media auto controller
media controller
media controller
multimedia controller
multimedia video controller
PCI simple communications controller
universal serial bus (usb) controller
video controller (vga compatible)

If I had an internet connection would it search for the correct drivers and would that simplify things
