no sound from my computer - Dell optiplex GX260, OS - XP professional service pack 3. device manager has a yellow mark on multimedia audio controllers. how can i please get the sound working. thanks.

Hi cooldee,

You can try reinstalling the sound drivers.

Drivers for Dell Optiplex GX260 can be found on their site here.

To uninstall the sound driver:

On the device manager, right click on the problem device and choose uninstall.
Reboot computer then install the updated drivers.
