Windows 7- Programs on the Fly!

Well, tried to start a program or two on the OS and and they do show up on the task bar, but.... When I try to open from the task bar, they just fly off the screen to the right. I can close the program by right clicking, and choosing 'close window', but can't seem to keep them from jumping. ???I don't know what this means, never happened with an XP. I miss you XP.

P.S. the two programs that this has happened to is the Bitorrent exe, and the free HP games/wild tangent program. thanks for the help> Sincerely.
