Hello everyone!

I installed ZoneAlarm today, it's messed up my computer! I cannot load it normally with a 'Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error', luckily it still works in safe mode!

I've tried loading MSconfig.exe and did a selective start-up disabling load system services and load start-up items, this then made the computer work, but just disabling start-up items causes it to fail!

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail!

Any help?!

Have a look in the Windows Event Viewer for any clues as to what's causing it:
Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Event Viewer.

I do know that many people have ditched ZoneAlarm products a long time ago because of problems that were never addressed.
You may find it less hassle just to change to something else, such as Outpost Firewall Free:
